10 things I learned when I committed to living the best life possible

When I started my coaching business three years ago, I really had no idea of the true breadth of the inner journey I was embarking on.

There have been days when everything just flowed perfectly and days where I wanted to just throw in the towel and walk away, because it was hard and scary and messy and quite frankly, it pushed every one of my self-doubt and self-sabotage buttons.

Given that it’s been a rocky road at times, I’ve often been asked why I continue to pursue it and no matter how challenged I might be feeling, the answer to this question is always really simple for me to connect with.

This is about freedom from the chains that used to keep me stuck and committing to a completely different life; my best life, a life of fulfillment, of growth, of full-health, of vibrant living and most-of-all, making a difference.

This is about showing that it’s possible to experience fear, chronic anxiety and self-doubt and still commit to your dreams.

That it’s possible to have an inner critic that has a very loud and critical voice and still show up and take action.

That it’s possible to do the inner work and experience more fulfilment than you thought was possible.

this is my version of FREEDOM

Because when I truly follow my heart and live in alignment with my own truth, I feel alive, expansive & free.

Free to be me.

Free to live the life I choose to live

Free to help others in the way I believe I’m meant to help.

And that is what I want for you and for all of my wonderful clients who are committed to creating change in their own lives.

Yes, I’ve had fear and there have been times when this has stopped me being as visibile as I perhaps could’ve been, yet I’ve remained committed to my vision and taken action (even if only small steps) and I see the progress I’m making every single day.

Here’s 10 things I’ve learned from committing to the best life possible:

  1. that it’s possible to move through and overcome anxiety and self-doubt.

  2. how to be curious about what might be on the other side of fear, then feeling the fear and doing it anyway.

  3. to trust myself and my ability to ‘adult’ my life in my own way.

  4. that life can be both exciting and empowering if you choose for that to be the case.

  5. there is no such thing as perfection and to strive for this will result in your dreams always being just out of reach.

  6. Authenticity is the key to fulfillment.

  7. that we are all exactly as we’re meant to be.

  8. to let go of the attachment to what I think my life ‘should’ look like, or what others (society) might expect of me.

  9. To set my own standards and to live by them.

  10. It’s ok to not have all of the answers right now and to continue moving forwards.

I say this not to give the illusion that I'm perfect (because I'm not), but to put it simply: If there's something scary that you want to do, go for it, or if you’re not living your life the way you want to live it - change it!

We get one shot at this life - don’t let it be filled with unmet hopes and dreams.

If I can do it, then you definitely can too! <3

If you need support, I’d love to help you move past your fears and into the most empowered version of you, so let’s talk!
